Bollypiano App Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Bollypiano app for iOS and Android and to the interactive player inside it (the “App”). The App is provided by Bollypiano Ltd. (“Bollypiano”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Purchases on bollypiano.com are also covered by our website Terms and Conditions. If these terms and the website terms conflict about the App, these terms apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Using the App

You can browse the catalog without an account. You need an account and an active membership to open pieces in the interactive player. The App is for everyone and has no minimum age.

2. Your account

The details you give us must be accurate. Keep your password confidential, because you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account in the App, from the Membership screen, or through our account deletion form.

Deleting your account does not by itself stop billing by Apple or Google. Cancel any store subscription in your store account as well.

3. Memberships

Memberships are available in the App as Monthly Pro and Annual Pro. The current price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Prices are set in your local currency by the store and may change. We will give you notice of a price change as the store requires.

A membership gives you access to the interactive player and a number of free downloads, currently 3 per month on Monthly Pro and 36 per year on Annual Pro. Unused free downloads expire at the end of each billing cycle. A free download covers one piece in one key. You can download that key again at no further charge. Features and the catalog may change over time.

A membership bought in the App also applies to your Bollypiano account. A membership bought on bollypiano.com can be used in the App by signing in. It stays billed and managed on the website.

4. Billing, renewal and cancellation

If you buy in the App, Apple or Google takes the payment under its own terms. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Your store charges your payment method for the next period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current one ends.

To cancel, go to your subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account. The App’s Membership screen links there. Removing the App does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

If a free trial is offered, it is available once per account and only where the App shows that you are eligible. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you started it.

5. Refunds

Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made through their stores, under their own policies. We cannot issue those refunds ourselves. Purchases made on bollypiano.com are covered by our Refunds and Cancellations policy. Nothing in these terms removes refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law where you live.

6. License and content

We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App and its content, including music you print or download.

The App, its arrangements, scores, recordings and other content belong to Bollypiano or its licensors. Except as the law allows, you must not:

• copy, share, sell or publish content from the App
• share your account with others
• reverse engineer the App or get around its access controls or security
• scrape or extract content in bulk
• use the App in a way that breaks the law or harms the service

7. Emails from us

We send service messages about your account and purchases. If you opt in when you sign up, we also send news and offers about Bollypiano to the email address on your account. Opting in is optional and does not affect your use of the App. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any such email.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Some features need an internet connection. We may update, change or withdraw features, and we may require you to update the App to keep using it.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. We may change these terms by posting a new version here and updating the date above. If a change materially affects you, we will give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use the App means you accept the new terms.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the App is provided “as is”, and Bollypiano and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.

11. Additional terms for the iOS app

These terms apply if you got the App from the Apple App Store:

• These terms are between you and Bollypiano, not Apple. Bollypiano, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
• Your license is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as the App Store’s usage rules allow, including Family Sharing where it applies.
• Bollypiano alone is responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide either.
• If the App fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price you paid for the App, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Bollypiano, not Apple, is responsible for claims about the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• Bollypiano, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that the App infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country under a U.S. government embargo, or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
